Description

This apple cinnamon bread is moist, fluffy, and full of cozy fall flavor. With diced apples, cinnamon, and a drizzle of glaze, it’s the perfect no-yeast quick bread for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional glaze: powdered sugar + milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease loaf pans.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and oil.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in apples.
  5. Pour into pans and bake 40–50 minutes.
  6. Cool, glaze if desired, and serve.

Notes

Best apples for baking: Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Braeburn. Do not overmix the batter. Store wrapped at room temperature for 2–3 days, or freeze slices for up to 3 months.
