- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- Optional glaze: powdered sugar + milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease loaf pans.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and oil.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in apples.
- Pour into pans and bake 40–50 minutes.
- Cool, glaze if desired, and serve.
Notes
Best apples for baking: Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Braeburn. Do not overmix the batter. Store wrapped at room temperature for 2–3 days, or freeze slices for up to 3 months.
