Description

  • 10 slices white sandwich bread
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • For Cooking:
  • 23 tbsp butter (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Trim crusts off bread slices and flatten each with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and 2 tbsp cinnamon. Spread mixture on bread slices, leaving edges clean.
  3. Roll each slice tightly and press to seal.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and vanilla in a shallow bowl.
  5. Heat skillet over medium heat with butter. Dip roll-ups in egg mix and cook seam-side down. Rotate until all sides are golden brown.

Notes

Use soft bread for easy rolling. Dip briefly in egg mixture. Cook on medium heat. Freeze cooked roll-ups and reheat for a quick breakfast.
