Description
Creamy, frosty, and bursting with tropical flavor, this Colombian Coconut Limeade is the kind of drink that instantly transports you to a beachside hammock. With fresh lime juice, silky coconut milk, and just the right touch of sweetness, it’s icy, refreshing, and smooth to the last sip.
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
- 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk or granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups ice
- ½ cup cold water (optional, for thinning)
- Lime slices & shredded coconut (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Blend Until Creamy: In a blender, combine lime juice, coconut milk, condensed milk or sugar, and ice. Blend until frothy and smooth.
- Adjust Texture: If too thick, add a splash of cold water and blend again for a lighter consistency.
- Taste and Sweeten: Taste the mix—add more sugar or condensed milk if you want it sweeter or richer.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with lime slices and shredded coconut if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Substitute coconut water for a lighter version. Freeze coconut milk into cubes for a slushier twist. Add a shot of rum or coconut rum for a cocktail variation.
