Description
Deviled Strawberries are the ultimate sweet finger food—fun to make, stunning to serve, and absolutely irresistible. Imagine plump, juicy strawberries filled with rich cheesecake-like cream and finished with a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers. It’s a no-bake, crowd-pleasing treat perfect for everything from holiday parties to bridal showers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 18–24 large strawberries
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
- ½ cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Cut off the stems and slice strawberries in half. Trim a small sliver off the back of each half so they sit flat. Use a melon baller to gently scoop out a bit of the center to make room for the filling.
- In a medium bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (about 4–5 minutes). Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- Transfer filling into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe a generous swirl onto each prepared strawberry half.
- Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers. Optional: top with a blueberry or mint leaf for extra flair.
Notes
Prep strawberries and filling separately up to a day in advance. Assemble just before serving for best texture. For a twist, add almond extract or swirl in fruit puree. Use sugar substitutes for a low-carb version.
