Instructions
- Place white chocolate chips and butter in a heatproof bowl.
- Warm heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
- Pour hot cream over the chocolate and butter. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest until incorporated.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar until a thick, smooth mixture forms. Add food coloring if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Roll mixture into bite-sized balls and coat in powdered sugar.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Chill thoroughly before shaping. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving for a clean look.
