Description

Recreate the iconic Parmesan Crusted Chicken from Longhorn Steakhouse at home. Juicy, crispy chicken topped with a cheesy garlic-Parmesan crust—perfect for dinner any night of the week!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian or plain)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In three dishes: flour in one, eggs and milk in another, breadcrumbs with half the Parmesan, seasoning, salt, and pepper in the third.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour, then egg mix, then breadcrumb mix to coat.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Transfer to baking dish.
  4. Mix remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and garlic. Top each piece of chicken with cheese mixture. Bake 20–25 minutes until fully cooked and bubbly.
  5. Serve hot with pasta, potatoes, or vegetables.

Notes

Use Italian breadcrumbs for extra flavor. Add red pepper flakes for spice. Make gluten-free with GF flour and crumbs.
