Louisiana Remoulade Sauce

  • Total Time: 5–65 minutes
  • Yield: About 1⅓ cups 1x

Description

Louisiana Remoulade Sauce is a bold, zesty, and creamy Creole condiment perfect for seafood, sandwiches, veggies, and more. Packed with mustard, horseradish, chives, and Creole seasoning, it’s Southern flavor in every spoonful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ⅔ cup real mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dried snipped chives
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose Creole seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth and fully combined.
  2. For maximum flavor, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
  3. Use as a dipping sauce, sandwich spread, or seafood topping. Stir before serving if chilled.

Notes

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Stir before serving as separation may occur. Great on crab cakes, burgers, fried green tomatoes, or mixed into shrimp salad.
