  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake is creamy, garlicky, cheesy, and downright comforting. It’s an elegant twist on a classic, loaded with buttery shrimp, lemon cream sauce, and a golden cheese topping that brings pasta night to the next level.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Pour in white wine or broth to deglaze the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes, scraping the pan. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream. Simmer gently.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer pasta to a large baking dish. Top with cooked shrimp. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan and mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days. To freeze, wrap tightly and store for up to 3 months. Add veggies like spinach or mushrooms for a twist, or swap proteins for chicken or scallops. Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
