Description
This Peach Sorbet is summer in a bowl—refreshing, sweet, and incredibly easy to make with just 3 ingredients and no ice cream maker needed. Whether you’re using fresh peaches or frozen, it comes out smooth, luscious, and bursting with peachy goodness every time.
Ingredients
Scale
- 800g peeled and sliced ripe yellow peaches (fresh or frozen)
- 200g caster sugar (or homemade superfine sugar)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- If using fresh peaches, slice into eighths and peel each slice. If using frozen, thaw slightly for easier blending.
- Place peach slices and caster sugar into a food processor. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and add lemon juice, blending after each addition until flavors are bright and balanced.
- Transfer mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe dish. Spread evenly and freeze for 6-7 hours until firm and scoopable.
- Let sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. Serve in bowls or cones for a refreshing treat.
Notes
If caster sugar isn’t available, pulse regular granulated sugar in a blender until fine. Stick to a 4:1 fruit-to-sugar ratio for a smooth texture. Sorbet keeps for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the freezer.
