Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dill weed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the cucumbers thinly.
  2. Finely chop the onion and add it to the cucumbers.
  3. Mix together the dill weed, minced garlic, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Combine the cucumber and onion with the dressing, mixing well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For beautifully thin slices, consider using a mandoline slicer. This salad can be made ahead of time and tastes even better after chilling.
