- 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Mix the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (don’t worry if there are a few lumps!).
- Preheat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then carefully flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm with a pat of butter, a generous drizzle of syrup, or even some fresh fruit for a delightful finish.
